Well its official, it was the last day of work for me at the craft store Ben Franklins. I no longer have to walk around for 8 hours a day saying "can i help you find anything today?" or stand at a register and say "debit or credit ma'am" Yes this is quite the monumental occasion indeed. And to top it all off, when i got home mom was making ribs on the BBQ, quite sensational as well. All in all this has been a rather awesome day. Oh and i get to pick up a paycheck tomorrow and possibly get a deposit back from my Oregon apartment within the next week or so so thats another nice thing to add to the list. People say that bad things come in threes- well this has happened at work but it seems that good things also come in groups. The bad things from the last week were-- My friend went missing for 5 hours, Gina killed herself, and Amber (a pregnant girl i work with) started having some really sharp pains in her side/ abdomen, and as she is only like 3 months a long, its not really a good sign. Turns out she was fine but it was still a scare on top of everything else. The good things for the week are-- My last day of work was today, I get a paycheck tomorrow, Im moving to Montana on monday, I get to go to two conventions in 2 weeks.
All in all it would seem that the good out weighs the bad, granted the bad involved a death but still. you cant always dwell on the horrible things, sorry if that sounds callous but its the truth as i see it.
Its now 10 o'clock wednesday night and as of right now about 1/4 of my stuff is actually in boxes like it needs to be, i should really be packing right now instead of blogging but it just didnt seem like it would be very much fun... so im not packing, you know what they say-- "If it weren't for procrastination and the last minute, nothing would ever get done" i have found this to be so true in my life, (i should probably work on that whole procrastination thing... but thats for later)
He who laughs last... finally got the joke
And with that parting random thought, i will leave you till another day.
I bid you adieu and farewell
