Its been 5 weeks ish since the last post. In that time, I made it back to good ole MT. It was a very odd experience being in CA and being homesick. I guess it makes sense seeing how I was the only one in my immediate family that was in the state. I went to the Grandparents a few times, over to the Flecks a good few times, and other than that didnt really do much of anything. Chuck F. finished installing my subwoofers in my pickup for me (many shouts of joy accompanied by booms from the subs) and that pretty much made my week.
I went to Boring 1 on my way home from CA, it added about 8 hours onto my trip but I think it was pretty worth the extra miles and gas.
Back home, Kirstyn has started working for dad now as well so we see a whole lot of each other and surprisingly we havent tried to kill each other off yet. Im taking this as a good sign.
Mom and the girls are all moved in and unpacked [unless you happen to look in the garage (: ].
Allyson came out to see us for about a week, I went up to Shelby to pick her up last thursday (10th), and she just went back home today (friday 18th).
She was very helpful in helping me almost finish painting my room that I have been trying to paint since the day I got back from CA, about 3 weeks ago...
We all came up to the farm on tuesday night after a very fun girls only night. All the girls in the field married and single went over to the Fendler place for dinner and games. The men all went elsewhere with the kids. Im pretty sure the moms LOVED it. So we left at 0'dark thirty tuesday night and got to Roy and Kaylee's around 2am. We being Kirstyn, Teresa, Allyson, Saoirse, and I. We pretty much chilled for a day or two and the Chantal and Chayln Tallman came out yesterday. They headed down to Belgrade around 5pm so Chay could see a friend of hers in Bozone. We are goin home sunday and that is all I know.
Since I am no longer moving every 3-5 months its not really about my moving escapades any more. Now its all about staying in one place ( I know its a crazy concept but it just may work!)

California again
Well, I am back in CA again for the moment. I came down here about a week and a half ago to house sit for dad while he is in HI. Ironically enough I am the only VanDermyden from my family here. We got fully moved before I came down here so it will be nice to go home to a new place that Kirstyn was willing to fully unpack-- except my room. I havent really done anything down here except play with Miko and Katie. Ive been going over to Rhinna's house (co worker) on the days I work thats pretty much a blast and a half. We have fun all day long so its pretty much awesome. Work for Dad is going pretty good so far, I'm learning a lot of new stuff and all that good stuff. That being said, I really have no idea what else to write so I wont bother continuing.

Oh I suppose
It must be time to blog again. I am writing to you not from my normal place but from California. Im down here for about a month gonna house sitting for dad while he goes to hawaii to see carol and uncle alan. I left about a week ago and headed to OR to see the Bartons and my old friends from Bend area. We stayed in bend for a day and a half then stayed with the bartons for about 5 days. We went to the river a couple times and then went to the lake with some friends yesterday and had a total blast. May I take this moment to point out that little sister stephanie managed to get a worse sunburn than I did. I know most of you are thinking that it wasnt possible but it is and it did happen. Lol. Lets see, before I came down to Cali I quit my job at wheat montana and it was quite literally the happiest day of my life to date. Im hoping that marrige or proposal will top that but at the moment, its the top of the list. I started working for Dad about 2 weeks ago doing Repo stuff online for him. Its kinda cool cause i just hook into his computer server at the office and work from where ever i happen to be. Kirstyn and I just moved 9 miles down the road to belgrade into a really cute triplex. and now as it turns out, mom is moving like 8 blocks away or something like that! how sweet is that, now i dont have to call mom to talk to her, i can just go next door and borrow a cup of sugar or w/e lol.
its time for bed now so ill catch y'all later

Finally!!!
Ok, so I gave my two weeks notice about a week and a half ago and told them that the 2 weeks would be a week and a half instead :) that means that I only have one day (or should I say night) left at that horrible place!!!!! The last few days have been rather interesting and I must say it was rather hard not to get a big head about it all. One of the big wigs found out the real reasons I was quitting-- not just that I was bored-- and suddenly wanted to talk. (This was on wednesday) After talking to Paul for about 25 minutes, wherin I told him EVERYTHING that was leading to my sudden quitage. Not all of it was pleasant, for that matter very little of it was but he said he wanted to know it all even the bad so I sure gave it :) He agreed to quite a few of my points that I was concerned about- mainly lack of pay and training. Then yesterday morning (thursday) Steve (another big wig but not quite as big) wanted to talk. So I went and told him all the exact same stuff and he was very understanding about my concerns and whatnot. Between Paul and Steve (smaller big wig) I was getting some very interesting offers. They both told me that I was a valuable employee to them and the company and that they didnt want to see me go, they were going to FINALLY give me a raise as well as the raise for the crew leader position that I began about 2 months ago so all in all that would have been a fairly healthy chunk. I told them I wasnt wanting to work nights anymore so they said, "Well then, we can move you to day shift with no loss in pay and if you decide that you dont like that position then we can move you around til you find something you like." I must say that I was very tempted by all the offers but in the end I still said no due to gut feelings that it was time for me to leave that job.
You know as they say- When one door closes, another door opens- in this case, I was talking to Dad about doing some online work for him and it sounds like I might have a potential job there and so I dont have to worry about job hunting although I think I will try to find at least a part time day job just so im not cooped up in the house ALL the time and get a little extra $$ for car payments and w/e. Well, Im gonna go find some shoes for my dress on sunday

blah de blah
Well its been 3 weeks since the last post that didnt really say anything at all. In that 3 weeks, i have worked, not slept so much, and played a bit. We went to Parma last weekend, it was so nice to be at convention again after a year. It was a really nice one but i suppose all conventions really are. Kirstyn and I are planning on moving around the first of august (any guys wanna come help...?) about 9 miles down the road to Belgrade.
I am in the process of quitting and lookin for another job and as I probably shouldnt do i think im going to be quitting before getting the next job. im tired of being burned and yelled at for my lack of training. I talked to my supervisor about my leaving and he tried to get me to just switch shifts or something but i dont think i want to work there any more regardless. Im trying to get into a new field but i dont know what field but i dont know what. any one got ideas for me? So as i type this i should be packing for Devon convention but im clearly not. Hmm, i really cant seem to think of anything else of importance so i guess i will go shower, pack and sleep then work then go to Devon!!

I havent been in the mood to blog this last week, and to be honest I'm still not. So until further notice I dont believe I will be posting anything unless something totally drastic happens that I cant resist posting but since all I do is work and sleep (although it seems to be more work than sleep lately) I really doubt that that will happen.

Supervisors
I have decided that there isnt much more annoying than a supervisor who doesnt actually know what they are doing so they decide to go "by the book" on everything instead. Case in point, we have a supervisor named Jodi that is more than just sorta incompetent in almost everything she touches. She keeps coming over to the ovens with calipers and measuring the dough and then running to Jason to say "oh she cant cook that dough, its way to big its never going to work" The biggest problem with this is that we have made some adjustments to the way we do things and never got around to actually writing them down so the paper she is going by is rather out dated but theres no way you can tell her that. The other day she actually stole one of my racks of dough and wouldnt let me bake it cause it was "too big" funny thing, i baked the rest of that type at the same height and it turned out fine so in the end all she had to show for all her measuring was some wasted dough that wasnt even my fault. :P
Not much else is new since last post. My burn is healing up amazingly well. It hardly hurts anymore and is itching enough to drive me crazy so i take that as a good sign that its healing and all that. I should definiatly get a scar from that one... at least I better. I figure if Im going to go through that much pain I should at least have something to show for it. :)
