My last post was about a week ago i think. Since then there has only really been one new detail in my life and its not even a different new detail. Yes ladies and gents, I got burned again. The one main difference this time is that instead of just blistering the skin like all of the other ones that I have gotten to date it actually took the skin off and gave me a second degree burn that hurts like the dickens. (Now I dont really know what the dickens feels like but im sure it must hurt a lot) I dont think I have ever cried at work but I sure just about did that time. But not until after I punched a metal door trying to get rid of some of the pain... it didnt work at all. So I pretty much just tried to ignore the burn but when i got off work thursday morning it was definiatly infected so i ended up going to urgent care to get it cleaned and taken care of and work is even paying for it... I think. Im going to be starting a different work schedule in about 3 weeks. Instead of having 2 shifts of 10 hours they are going to have 3 shifts 8 hours each. So I believe I will be working what they call 2nd shift which is from approx 1:30am-9am still in the ovens dept. I have to learn how to make the buns and dinner rolls and stuff now in addition to bread. yippee what a fun life i have. Um, I think thats pretty much all the new (ish) news from me
Oh ya, im tired

Nuthin

I have nothing really to blog about so I will just say that in the last 2 weeks there have been 5 new burns on my arms from the ovens, one puncture wound from a bread pan (dont laugh, it really can and did happen) and a seriously bruised elbow from getting it slammed into a metal post rather hard. Sleep deprivation is kicking in now so im going to end this and go back to sleep before i pass out with my computer on my lap.
thank you that is all
you may now go on to regret the time you have spent reading this blog in the hopes that something new and exciting had happened.
I typed all of this with my eyes closed and there arent even that many typos... or are there?
ok, bye

Another week another blog

Ok so im horrible about blogging on a regular basis. Im guessing that the only thing regular about it is that its not regular. There really hasnt been a whole lot going on the last couple weeks. I went to the farm by myself the weekend after the whole group was up there. It was nice, i went and hung out with Roy most of saturday doing some tractoring ( with a self steering GPS thingy and all you had to do was turn corners) and basic laying around thinking about what needed to get done but most likely wouldnt. We went to Norm and Joyce's 60th anniv party saturday afternoon. There where a whole lotta people there. Oh, Friday I went with the grandparents to dinner and a show fundraiser for the hospital. It was a musical skit thing that was pretty cute.
Nothing really has happened at work til yesterday/ last night. We have a new guy at work, I think his name is Adam but dont hold me to that. Any who about the first thing he said when i walked in to work last night was "oh hey, Jason gave me your phone number, we're like practically neighbors too" jason is my supervisor btw- That totally weirded me out cause this is an older guy that has a rep for hitting on married or non single women and for not taking no for an answer. I went straight to Jason and said um ya im totally not ok with you just handing out my number because some guy wants to carpool. Jason got offended and said, well i sure never gave it to him. and then he went over to Adam and called him on his statement and Adam said "oh i ment to say steve" Steve is the guy that does the hiring and is pretty high up on the chain of command. Jason told me that he would be talking to Steve about that at the meeting on thursday. But now I have to live with the fact that this weird guy has my number and on top of that he knows where I live because he saw my pickup out in the driveway. ARRGH seriously, i think i need to start sitting in on interviews with these ppl the keep hiring and just ask em straight out-
1. Are you going to ask for my number at any point
2. Are you going to want to carpool
3. Are you going to be all annoying, creepy, and stalkerish
Cause seriously, this is getting way out of hand that makes 2 stalkers and 5 guys interested in me from work. and the worst part is... none of them are good looking or any where near my age!! lol ok now i know im tired. im going to bed

ARGH!

Ok, so you know those days you have where you just want the whole world to go away for a while and just leave you alone? Well yesterday started out nothing like that. I got up around 11:30am so that i could run some errands that needed running and figured that it would be pretty easy to get them all done and still have time for a short nap before work since I only had 3 things I really neeeded to get done. But you know what they say about the best laid plans of mice and men-- actually i dont know what they say about them but thats not really relevant to the story. Absolutly NOTHING went as planned. I went to drop off a bill but nooo they decided to change their hours and not be open at all on tuesdays. How totally lame is that. I said oh well and moved on to the next errand- Finding a good source of Wi-Fi so that i could file my taxes. First stop- Belgrade library but did that work out either? nope for some reason their internet doesnt like to work with computers that use Windows Vista. Since my computer is fairly new it has Vista and therefore i couldnt use that internet. So on down to Bozone I went still in a fairly optimistic mood despite the slush and down pour of snowy stuffs. I decided to stop by DMV on my way to the library and get the regestration and title stuff taken care of for my pickup since my temp plates expire in 7 days. DMV said "oh no we dont do that here, you have to go down town to the court house and do it there"
Since when does DMV (Dept of Motor VEHICLES) not take care of vehicle stuff? So off i went in search of the court house and the Dept of Titles or what ever you want to call it. I get in to talk to a lady and she says "um, according to this, your pickup doesnt exist." I said "ya... ok, WHAT?" So to make a long story short my pickup wouldnt show up in the search that they do and the gal thought that ment that the VIN was wrong. That being the conclusion she made ment that I had another errand to run- Now I had to find a Sheriff or Cop or something and get them to do a vehicle inspection on my truck to make sure that all the VINs were right and if they arent then its a whole nother mess that might involve having to get a new title made and that can take a whole lot longer than the 7 days i have left on these plates. I did finally get my taxes done with some help from Rob on the OR ones. Seriously whoever thought up the OR "easy" form must have been smoking something cause I got CA and MT done in less than the amount of time it took 2 of us to do the OR easy form. But they are done and I get $$ back so thats all good.
Oh my this is going to be a long post again but it only gets better (and by better i mean worse)
By the end of all the above I was ready to just go home and pull the blankets over my head and smother but by the time it was all done, i only had about an hour before i had to get to work so the smothering was left til after work.
I show up to work and it looks like its going to be a fairly easy night which is just what i need right? Well it was not to be. About an hour after we started depanning the bread, the main machine in the packaging dept broke really good and was down for about 2 hours, normally I wouldnt mind the down time but being the baker ment that even though no bread was leaving my area i still had to continue baking it because it doesnt just sit and stay the same size because something is broke down. So I had bread coming out my ears both baked and unbaked and some in all 9 ovens. It pretty much stunk like a whole litter or Saoirse's after eating a bean burrito. No sooner do they get that fixed and going but what they break down again. It was on again off again all night long. Follow that up with a sound chewing out by Jason in front of a few people and that will pretty much be my day/night/whatever.

Interesting...

Well, its been rather interesting at work lately. Ill have to see if i can get things in the right order for you. It all started on April 1st. The first night back to work after the cali trip. I was supposed to pick up a guy named Barry for work, i saw him before work and he said that he would be waiting at the gas station at our normal time. When i got there, he was no where to be found so i went to work with out him. He showed up to work at 2:30 am instead of 9:30 like he was supposed to claiming that he couldnt find a ride til the bartender got off of work and he couldnt find the number to call work even though its in the phone book. Jason (my supervisor) was not pleased and fired Barry on thursday. A guy named Gabe had been learning the baking trade so we werent short a baker after Barry left. I started training a new girl, Sadi, on sunday night. I showed up to work on tuesday night as usual and Jason called me over and said "I have good news and bad news. Gabe quit so you are the new baker." I said "is that the good news or the bad news?" he said "thats both." "well which is which?" He said "I dont know" i laughed but said ok then. So i started to learn the baking trade and then found out that on top of learning baking, i had to train 2 new people at the same time. It was very stressful and by the second night of that i was almost in tears. but then life got suddenly better! one of the evil new guys got fired cause he was complaining about everything from the heat to not getting a break exactly when he wanted it. Jason caught him sitting down like 5 times and didnt even let him finish the shift. The rest of the night was AMAZING and i got told that im doing an amazing job and that i might even take over for the lead baker when he gets back from his heart attack. :P now none of this probably was of any interest to anyone that reads this blog but i wanted to write it anyways.

On a different note, i went to the farm again this weekend. It was pretty much just a laid back weekend not doing much of anything. I got there friday and stopped at C&J's for a visit and ended up staying for lunch. then i went for a truck ride with Kevin to pick up some seed peas or something on the east side of chester. On the way home we stopped by to see Brenda, Ivan and baby bump :) Went on to Roy and Kaylee's after that for some dinner then fell asleep around 8 and didnt wake up til 9 the next day, Roy was actually gettin worried that i was still asleep, it was sweet :) Kaylee and I made up a lunch and took it out to eat with Roy in the field. Stopped in to see the grandparents but G-ma was gone so i talked to grandpa for a while. He showed me a video of the Kings Firecrackers that was pretty cool.
Saturday night as we were all getting ready for bed i happened to see a mouse skittering around in my room so i went to get some help in catching it. My "help" ended up being 4 additional screaming girls and two dogs that were absolutely NO help in the catching lol. It was about 15 minutes of hilarity and flailing around with some sticks that Kaylee found. Kaylee eventually caught the mouse with a lucky swing and that was the end of that.
Now i realize that this was a very long blog and that no one probably cares about the vast majority of it but i write it for me so you will probably all live til the next more interesting post.

Cali

Well we made it down to California and back with out too much trouble. The trip down was a little interesting though.
Sis, Rob and I took Rob's pickup and headed out wednesday afternoon for salt lake city to pick up chantal. I took up the whole back seat and we were putting along all fine and dandy til about Idaho Falls. Sis had come to the back seat to watch a movie with me and next thing we knew, Rob was turning around saying "you both have your seatbelts on right?" we both said ya, why and he said that we were driving into a very bad total white out blizzard. Sis and i didnt really say anything for the next 3 hours it took to drive through it. Rob later said it was one of the worst storms hes had to drive through. I thanked him a lot for not telling us that at the time. :) Made it to Salt lake about 2am and slept at Chantals place and left for CA the next morning. Needless to say the weather was AMAZING!!!! T-shirts and flip flops all the way.
Didnt do much friday, hand G-ma T and G-ma Van over for dinner along with Dad and great aunt Shirley
A few of us went down to sunsplash and met Kyla and Mark for a game of laser tag and mini golf. Chantal is the only person i know of that can loose not just the ball but the club as well. lol it might have had something to do with her letting go as she was swinging it but still. It takes talent i do admit.
Saturday was the anniversary party for the Grand folks, the whole reason for going to CA in the first place. It was amazing weather, about 75 degrees and sunny. And of course, i got the worst sunburn of everyone. I seem to be good at doing that. It sorta blistered and hurt but its goin away. I also managed to get bronchitis or somehting of the sort so the trip home was rather miserable. I had to get a new phone cause my old one just rather quit working on me and its my only connection to the outside world. so hey if you want to send me ur phone numbers that would be great.
